Britons are investing more in holiday homes
According to vacation home operator Park Leisure; Britons are investing in their own vacation spaces at a record pace, ahead of the fall and winter months.
YouGov data shows that more than three-quarters of Britons (77%) have no intention of traveling abroad this year. 43% say they intend to make more or the same number of trips to the UK than usual.
As British tourists increasingly seek UK getaways and seek a long-term solution, Park Leisure has reported a staggering 47% year-on-year increase in holiday home sales this summer across its 11 locations.

Lisa Williams, Park Leisure Director of Holiday Sales and Marketing, said: “Needless to say, this year has been completely unpredictable and there were challenges to overcome to ensure we were able to welcome vacation homeowners and tourists to our parks safely and comfortably.”

Of all the locations, Yorkshire Dales-based Littondale has seen the most significant increase, with a whopping 91% more bookings this summer (June-August) compared to the same period last year.
