Leicester is recognized as the best city for investors

Leicester has been recognized as the best city in the UK to invest in property and start a new business; these were the results of a study carried out by analyst firm Raisin.

The second and third best cities were Bristol and Coventry, as both have high business survival rates (88.7% and 90.6%), and increases in house prices of 26% and 28%.

“Leicester is a paradise for investors.”

The city’s business survival rate exceeds 91% and house prices have increased 28.3% in the last two years.

The median home price in Leicester is £ 246,000, which has increased from £ 176,382 in the past two years, an increase of more than £ 69,000.

Kevin Mountford, co-founder of Raisin UK, said: “When it comes to selling or buying property, all factors need to be taken into account. In this study, we wanted to reflect a more realistic approach.”

“The UK is an exceptional place to invest in real estate, however, there are better cities for this, some are too expensive, and others do not offer the same level of quality of life; so we decided to measure these factors in a different way to offer to our clients better advice.”

“Using the Raisin UK investment index, you can find the most practical and profitable location for your business and property needs, fostering the most successful return on your investment and the cost-savings you have earned.”

“The real estate market is recovering”

The Coronavirus pandemic severely affected economic activities in the UK and around the world. The UK government acted quickly to lessen the negative impact of COVID-19, through the implementation of economic measures and aid for SME’s owners, workers, landlords, and entrepreneurs.

Thanks to these swift government actions, the start of a slow but steady recovery has been possible. Experts estimate that by the end of the year the UK has returned to normal by at least 70%.

These numbers are impressive, especially when compared to those of other world powers, such as the USA.

The United Nations organization, the IMF, and other international organizations have asked the governments of the world to create forecast plans to avoid that another catastrophe of this magnitude could harm the world population again.
